I've met good people here. Who get second chances in a place like this, when their world... it feels weird, even now, to say world- couldn't offer that to them.

I've met people who were able to live better lives in this place than they ever had before.

Then you won't ever get bored here, I don't think. There's lots to think about, and there's some theories. No truths, really.

Like... what it is about us, that gets us here, what lets us leave... the curses, the deities... so much.

... I don't think a single thing we have in common lands us here. I honestly... think it's random. I can't even say that "living" brings people here, since some come here after death, like me.

What let's us leave... I'm afraid I think that's the same thing. Chaos... random selection.

Curses... are also so random in nature, I question if there's a method to who gets affected. But I've seen the deities do things. I've seen them show powers, at least, but I couldn't say for sure whether I think they're directly responsible. I think if they're not- they know who is.

The deities'? ... It was far away, but. They took down these... ships. From a- don't laugh- alien invasion, of sorts.

Big ships. One rusted... exploded in light... burned... one was devoured-
