Although repairs are still underway, the Palace is officially re-opened. We were fortunate enough to not have sustained severe damage from the storm.

In this case, for flooding---well, not so much for flooding, but considering you've claimed no severe damages I was just assuming that the Palace didn't have an underground level.

Ours became a well of sorts. Until we drained it anyway.

The Palace is prepared for such situations. That isn't to say we didn't sustain any water damage below grounds, what damage we did sustain was not irreparable. I'm glad to hear your situation was similar.
